Classic Colomba is the traditional Easter cake. Our Colomba is made only with natural sourdough and the dough passes through a 48-hour double fermentation. Within our Classic Colomba "historical recipe" the candied orange are hand cut and minced into the dough to give our Colomba a unique and natural orange scent in honor of the historical recipe. We fill it with candied orange. It’s covered with a sugar glaze, which is enriched with almonds. You can find little black dots of Tahiti Bourbon vanilla inside. Colomba is a rich but highly digestible cake, thanks to the usage both of first quality raw materials and of long fermentation techniques. It’s completely free from preservatives, semi-finished products, flavourings and vegetable fats. 100% prepared by hand with passion since 1882, in keeping with tradition.

  • Preservation add

    Store in a cool, dry place (max 73,4°F). Do not expose to the sun. Avoid sudden changes in temperature. Don't refrigerate it. About 40 days of shelf-life. Once opened, the product keeps a week. Please always close the plastic sack.

    Soft wheat* flour type 00, butter*, eggs*, cane sugar, natural sourdough yeast (soft wheat* flour type 0, water), water, candied orange paste (orange 70%, sugar, water), acacia honey, salt, Tahitian Bourbon vanilla. Glaze: cane sugar, egg* white, powdered sugar, rice flour, almonds*, sunflower* oil. *Contains allergens - May contain traces of nuts, soy and sesame.
