We are thrilled to announce that The New York Times has once again recognized Olivieri 1882 Classic Panettone, saying that you'll likely "change your mind" about panettone after tasting it!
This marks the third time weโve been featured, and we couldnโt be more grateful.
Thank you for your continued support! Celebrate the season with our exceptional panettone.
"When it comes to panettone, the yeasted Italian bread filled with candied citrus and raisins, many people either dislike it due to the dry versions found in stores or absolutely love it, anticipating its bright citrus flavor and soft texture every holiday season. I fall into the latter category, especially when it comes to Olivieri 1882โs Classic Panettone, which quickly became my favorite after trying several different kinds."
"The first thing that stood out to me was its impressive tall, domed shape, with a beautiful, golden crumb thatโs almost saffron-colored. As soon as I cut into it, the delightful aroma of orange filled the air. The vibrant yellow color, thanks to the egg yolks used in the recipe, adds to its rich, custardy flavor. Made in Arzignano, Italy, it tastes as fresh and moist as if it had just come from a local bakery."
"The texture is incredibly tender, buttery, and fluffy, with just the right balance of citrus flavor thatโs bold but not overwhelming. The raisins are plump and juicy, while the candied orange is perfectly soft and tender, not dry like some other versions Iโve tried. I also appreciate how generously and evenly the candied citrus is spread throughout the bread, ensuring that each bite is just as flavorful as the last."
"Although Olivieri 1882โs panettone is on the pricier side, I truly believe itโs worth the investment. As one chef wisely said, "If itโs good quality, just spend the money. Itโs always worth it."
"If youโre planning to send this panettone as a gift, itโs easy to ship multiple items to different addresses at checkout. Olivieri 1882 also offers a variety of other panettone flavors, but I found the apricot and salted caramel versions to be less appealing, with the caramel flavor a bit too overpowering for my taste."
We thank you again for this article, which encourages us to continuously improve, a new step in our growth as a family, brand and company.
